VIDEO: 2 students killed in bus crash at Co-operative University

Two students of Nairobi’s Cooperative University College were crushed to death and more than 30 others injured when a bus overturned at the institution.

Witnesses said scores of students were riding on the bus’ roof while others hung on the sides during student leadership campaigns when the accident occurred.

Police have detained the bus driver.

According to the University’s principal Prof Douglas Shitanda, the injured students are receiving treatment in various hospitals in Nairobi.
