[VIDEO] Ex-cabinet minister's son joins the presidential race

Jeremiah John Mwaniki Nyaga, the eldest son of the late Cooperatives Development and Marketing cabinet minister Joe Nyaga declared that he will soon launch his bid for the country's top job. Mwaniki rubbished notion that Mt. Kenya region is not at pole position to clinch the presidential after President Kenyatta retires, saying that every community has the right to field as many candidates as they wish. He insisted that the region must have a kingpin to champion for its interests.

"Tunapelekwa hivi hivi. Tusipojipanga tutapangwa," Mwaniki Said.
