VIDEO: IPOA says police assaulted University of Nairobi students

The Independent Policing and Oversight Authority (IPOA) has confirmed that police brutally assaulted a group of students at the University of Nairobi on 2nd April. IPOA says police herded the students from their halls and attacked them in the scene that was captured on camera. IPOA is now pushing for the prosecution of the officers involved in the incident that occurred as students held demos to protest the re-election of Babu Owino as the students’ union chairman.
