VIDEO: Jubilee, CORD in voter registration mobilization drive

As the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) embarks on the month-long mass voter registration, the two leading political coalitions; Jubilee and CORD have engaged the overdrive, to mobilise their strongholds to register en-masse ahead of next year’s General Elections.

In a bid to tame the Jubilee coalition’s ‘tyranny of numbers’, CORD leader Raila Odinga and his co-principals Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetangula have mandated Governors in counties controlled by the opposition facilitate mobilisation of supporters to register and demanded an extension of the exercise by 30 days.
