VIDEO: Lion attack victim leaves hospital

When a stray lion roamed through Embakasi, Nairobi last week, it left many panic stricken residents and motorists along Mombasa Road seeking safety in numbers, with many hooting from the safety of their cars.

But one man who was walking nearby was not that lucky at that moment after the lion pounced on him and attacked him briefly, leaving him nursing serious injuries.

But Michael Abdul was lucky because he not only survived that attack but also lived to tell that tale.
