Wambora Ousted As Embu Governor

The senate on Tuesday voted to impeach Martin Wambora effectively ending his tenure as the Embu Governor. 35 senators voted to send wambora home against the solitary vote of baringo senator Gideon Moi on grounds of abuse of office. Wambora is expected challenge his impeachment in the court of appeal having failed at the high court to stop the senate from debating his impeachment. Embu deputy speaker Dorothy Nditi will now take over as the governor for the remainder of the term. Kendagor Obadiah reports.
