Jubilee Party deputy party leader Dr Fred Matiang'i has warned the government against interfering with the November 27 by-election, claiming that there are plans to rig the elections in favor of UDA candidates.

Speaking in Nyamira, Matiang'i said the opposition candidates will sweep all the seats as a sign of no confidence in the Kenya Kwanza administration.

Matiang'i was in Nyamira County, where he used the opportunity to put the government on notice following claims of plans to interfere with the by-elections.

"Tunataka kuwaambia wasijaribu hiyo mchezo. Sisi tumejipanga na tutalinda kura zetu wiki ijayo," he added.

Matiang'i said the upcoming by-election polls will be used as a protest vote against the Kenya Kwanza administration.

"Wakenya wamechoka na hii serikali kwa sababu it is not working for Kenyans," Matiang'i said.

"This government is full of corruption and we must end corruption in this country," said Omogeni.

In Bungoma, Kenya Moja allied leaders tore into President William Ruto's state of the nation address, terming it full of empty promises.

"Ukisikia vitu zingine huyu rais anasema unashangaa. Ni Kenya gani tuko, some of those things are unrealistic," said Sifuna.

"We are going to stick together as young leaders and send this administration home," said Caleb Amisi.

The leaders said the plan to move Kenya to a first world country is a fantasy.
