Woman, 8-year-old daughter die in Nakuru inferno

A sombre mood engulfed Umoja 2 village in Molo, Nakuru County on Saturday following a devastating house fire that claimed the lives of 24-year-old Angel Wairimu and her eight-year-old daughter.
The victims' kin suspect that the fire might have been started by a candle the young girl was using to illuminate her bedroom.
Police officers, led by Molo OCS and DCI officers, visited the scene and moved the bodies of the two to Molo Sub-County Hospital mortuary.
Investigations to establish the cause of the inferno are currently ongoing.
