Woman kills husband after domestic quarrel in Uasin Gishu

A middle-aged woman on Saturday night allegedly killed her husband in Kamukunji area, Uasin Gishu County, following a domestic disagreement.

According to neighbours who spoke to Citizen Digital, an argument ensued when the deceased confronted his wife over why she came back home from work drunk.

“We intervened when we heard them arguing and were able to calm them down.We agreed that they should sleep and revisit the matter in the morning,” said one of the neighbours.

However, soon after they (neighbours) left, the couple is believed to have resumed their argument which then got physical.

The body of the deceased was discovered early Sunday morning behind the door by the landlord who had gone to collect rent.

It has since been transferred to the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital mortuary in Eldoret even as detectives hunt for the woman who reportedly fled after committing the crime.
