Woman suspected of stabbing husband to death arrested in Murang'a
Police officers in Murang'a have detained murder suspect Nancy Wanjiru who is accused of killing her husband in cold blood at their home in Kongoini in Murang'a county.
According to reports, the woman who had previously been arrested and jailed for selling bhang had returned home for two months before the Sunday 11pm incident.
The deceased Samuel Waiganjo was stabbed multiple times with a kitchen knife and died on the spot according to a police report.
The suspect is currently detained at Murang'a police station while the body of the deceased has been moved to Muranga District Hospital mortuary.
