The Redmi 15 arrives with a 7,000mAh battery — the largest ever introduced by Xiaomi globally — aimed at users who demand all-day power for work, entertainment and connectivity.
According to the company, the battery can deliver up to 28 hours of video playback and nearly 29 hours of reading on a single charge, with even one per cent battery capable of supporting over an hour of calls.
To complement the large battery, the device supports 33W fast charging and Xiaomi’s Smart Charging Engine 2.0, alongside Battery Health 4.0 technology designed to preserve long-term battery performance. It also features 18W reverse charging, allowing users to power other devices on the go.
On the visual front, the Redmi 15 is equipped with a 6.9-inch FHD+ display offering up to a 144Hz refresh rate and 288Hz touch sampling rate. The screen is TÜV Rheinland certified for low blue light, flicker-free viewing and circadian-friendly performance, features intended to reduce eye strain during prolonged use.
Audio is another key selling point, with Xiaomi touting a 200 per cent volume boost supported by Hi-Res Audio and Dolby Atmos, delivering louder and more immersive sound for gaming, streaming and music.
The handset runs on the Snapdragon 685 Mobile Platform built on a 6nm process, paired with up to 16GB RAM through memory extension and expandable storage of up to 2TB. It ships with Xiaomi HyperOS 2, bringing features such as Circle to Search, Google Gemini integration and Xiaomi’s cross-device connectivity tools.
Photography duties are handled by a 50MP AI dual rear camera, while an 8MP front-facing camera caters for selfies and video calls. The device also includes Auto Night Mode to enhance low-light photography.
In terms of build, the Redmi 15 features a quad-curved back with metal accents, measuring 8.55mm thick and weighing 224 grams. It comes in three colour options: Sandy Purple, Titan Gray and Midnight Black. The phone is rated IP64 for dust and water resistance and includes Wet Touch Tech 2.0 for improved usability in damp conditions.
Xiaomi says the device is engineered for durability, capable of delivering up to 14 hours of video playback even in temperatures as low as -20°C.
