Zambian President Michael Sata Dies While Undergoing Treatment In London

Zambia has been plunged into mourning, following the death of president Micheal Sata. The 77-year old leader of the copper-rich nation breathed his last at king Edward The 7th Hospital in London, after battling a heart ailment for months. His deputy Dr Guy Scott has taken over in an acting capacity, pending a presidential election, which he is ineligible to contest, because he is not a first generation citizen of Zambia, as required in the country’s constitution.
