KCB have received a massive boost in their quest to earn a top-four finish in the 2021/22 Kenyan Premier League season following the return to fitness of burly forward Enock Agwanda.

Agwanda, the former Sony Sugar, Ushuru FC, Gor Mahia and Bandari striker went under the knife last term after a bad knee injury which kept him off the pitch for close to a year.

And his return saw him start from the bench on Sunday at Kasarani as his side went down 2-1 to high- flying AFC Leopards before being introduced in the second half

Though he did not put his name on the score sheet his contribution helped the Bankers get a goal via Nashon Nanjendo and a penalty but luck was on their side as Nanjendos' penalty was saved by AFC keeper Levis Opiyo.

The Koderobara high school alumnus has in the meantime asked his colleagues to keep high concentration in the remaining six rounds of KPL matches with an aim of finishing the league on a high.

In the last three matches the bankers under the former Harambee Stars head coach Zedekiah 'Zico' Otieno  went down to Kariobangi Sharks 0-2, Gor Mahia 0-1 and Ingwe 2-1.

They next play host to Communication Authority sponsored side FC Talanta on Saturday.
