Babu pleased with Nzoia's impressive start as clash with Tusker looms
In their first eight opening matches, Nzoia who are now second on the log, have won five and drawn twice, only losing to record champions Gor Mahia.
The Sudi-based side narrowly dodged the axe last term after finishing 14th on the Premier League table, and coach Babu says they want to avoid such a scenario in the on-going campaign.
"So far I can say I'm happy with the way we are progressing, I joined this team somewhere around mid-last season and I wanted to change things, I wanted to make sure that struggling with relegation every campaign becomes a thing of the past. We set our targets and we want to finish top.
We prepared well and yes we want to sit up there, my boys are in high spirits, we are going to do this,” Babu told Citizen Digital.
Nzoia host Tusker on Saturday who sit top on FKF-PL log with 18 points just a point above them on 17 in what could be another mouthwatering clash.
