Bandari to bolster attack -Mbungo

Bandari FC head coach Andre Casa has hinted that they will strengthen their striking force before the closure of the mid-season transfer window early next month.

Speaking after a 1-1 draw against Wazito in an FKF Premier League match, Mbungo said that they have failed in their plans due to poor attacking options and they are finalizing on the new faces to join the squad.

"We fail to win many games because of our poor offensive line and I think we will add some power in that area," said Mbungo.

Mbungo  however kept his cards close to his chest declining to disclose the targeted players' identity , saying they will announce once 'everything has been put in place'.

"We will always unveil and inform you once he has agreed and put pen to paper,"he explained.

At the same time the former AFC Leopards coach added that they have no plans of releasing or sending any player on loan.

Bandari are missing the services of striker Umaru Kasumba and midfielder Whyvonne Isuza who are nursing injuries as well as Shaban Kenga who is still on rehabilitation after being out for a whole year.

"On giving out we don't have such plans but if it may be of advantage to both us and the player we will think of it," explained the Rwandan tactician.

The dockers brought in seven new faces at the start of the season to bolster their squad as they target a maiden title which is seemingly slipping out of their hands.

They are sixth in the league table with 25 points , eight shy the leaders Kakamega Homeboyz who were also held to a 1-1 by Nairobi City Stars Monday
