Bunge FC honour fallen General Ogolla
Bunge FC led by the captains Hon. Aaron Cheruiyot (Senate
Majority Leader) and Hon. Otiende Omollo led their teammates in honouring the late
Francis Ogolla at the Ulinzi Grounds as they lit candles in his memory
The parliamentarians held a special prayer session before
their training session, then proceeded to do a lap of honour in his memory
before training donned in black.
Hon. Aaron Cheruiyot praised the late General as a dedicated
soldier who led by example.
"He was an
active sportsman and dedicated to his work. Our training here at Ulinzi was
courtesy of the General who granted us access to this facility. We always found
him on these grounds as early as 5:45a.m running 10 laps together with his
soldiers. By the time we arrived here at 6a.m, he was almost halfway his
session," the Senate Majority Leader expressed.
"We will dearly miss his presence on these grounds. May
God Comfort his family and Kenya at large," added the Captain, Hon. Otiende
Amollo.
Amollo concurred with the Majority Leader noting that full
investigation to establish what transpired leading to the crash, is needed as a
matter of priority.
Bunge FC are currently training at the Ulinzi Complex as
they prepare for the East Africa Legislative Assemble (EALA) Games which Kenya
will host later this year.
