Rwandan Andre Casa Mbungo is the new sheriff in town. He takes over the mantle at Coast based side Bandari FC this morning, replacing Ken Odhiambo who decamped to Sofapaka.

Mbungo, a calm head and highly respected coach who handled trouble-plagued AFC Leopards last term before throwing the towel, is set to be unveiled alongside Patrick Odhiambo, formerly an assistant coach at Gor Mahia.

His in-tray is full and the number one objective will be to get Bandari firing equal to their weight, again.

He was on the terrace on Sunday evening as the Dockers switched off Western Stima 2-0, to pick their second win of the term.

Results have not been pleasant and he has a huge task in his hands to turnaround the fortunes.

On Sunday the club released their  long-serving assistant coach Nassor Mwakoba and goalkeeper trainer Razak Siwa upon the ” expiry” of their contracts, paving way for new brooms.
