Police FC head coach Bobby Ogolla has urged his side
to be more clinical in front of goal when they face KCB on Saturday in an FKF
Premier League match.
The newly promoted side will be seeking to build some
winning momentum having earned their first league win against Nzoia FC last
week on Wednesday although Ogolla is aware they are facing a much stronger
side.
“In such games there is no room for mistakes. We have
been creating a lot of chances in recent games but failing to convert them. I
thought we did better against Nzoia but we have to continue being sharp,” Ogolla
said.
Having signed experienced players, the veteran
tactician added that he will be banking on their abilities to deliver maximum
points against their opponents.
“The experienced players know how to win big games
against strong opposition and having them around will help the young players to
learn and will make the team stronger,” Ogolla added.
Police are currently 13th in the league standings with four points from the opening four rounds, a point adrift KCB who are 10th.
