Kenya bagged her fourth medal at the ongoing Commonwealth Games in Birmingham England as Daniel Simiu and Kibiwott Kandie bagged silver and bronze respectively in the men's 10,000m final, as Uganda's star man Jacob Kiplimo ran away with the gold in a Games record of 27:09.19.
Kenya had claimed silver and bronze in the women's marathon and the medal heroics by Simiu and Kandie could open the medal floodgates as the athletics calendar gets more intense on Thursday.
Kiplimo who has showed remarkable consistency was however the star of the show beating the Kenyans to win the top honours in spectacular fashion.
