Coronavirus: Harambee Stars coach Igendia in self quarantine

Harambee Stars Strength and Conditioning coach Michael Igendia is in self quarantine.

Igendia recently returned to the country from South Africa where he had attended a FIFA conference.

In a statement, Football Kenya Federation CEO Barry Otieno said Igendia has been in self quarantine for a week now, as a precautionary measure.

South Africa is one of the countries worst hit by the Covid-19 virus in Africa, with 274 confirmed cases.

His self quarantine ends next week, as per World Health Organization’s advisory.

The soft-spoken Igendia is hailed for having come up with innovative ways of keeping the Harambee Stars playing unit.
