Louis van Gaal has announced his retirement from football management after a career spanding three decades.
The Dutchman told a newspaper in The Netherlands he would end his time in the game due to family issues.
The 65-year-old won seven league titles at Ajax, AZ Alkmaar, Barcelona and Bayern Munich and took the Oranje to the semi-finals at the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
Van Gaal was sacked as Manchester United boss in May last year after a failure to qualify for the UEFA Champions League, despite having won the FA Cup final against Crystal Palace.
