Gin pleased with Nzoia outcome against Ulinzi, says team on 'right path'

Nzoia Sugar FC assistant coach Peter Gin has lauded the team for playing as per the instructions against Football Kenya Federation Premier League side Ulinzi on Saturday, saying they had prepared well for the match and the three points earned after a 2-1 win was not by chance.
The win saw the Sudi-based millers move top on the FKF-PL
log with 27 points from 13 matches.
Gin believes they are on the ‘right path’ to finish in a
better position this term.
"We had prepared well for the match. Football is a game
of instructions and the players played just how we wanted and put in the
effort,” he explained.
“We went top of the log and we want to keep the pace, we
want to finish in a better position this term and not worry about relegation,
you can see the boys are in high spirits to ensure this is done," Babu
told Citizen Digital.
Meanwhile, the soldiers suffered their first defeat of the
year in the hands of the Salim Babu-coached side, seeing their 10-game unbeaten
streak brought to an end by the enterprising millers.
Ulinzi Stars technical bench led by head coach Bernard
Mwalala opines that the 2-1 defeat to Nzoia Sugar on Saturday at the Ulinzi
Sports Complex was a perfect wakeup call.
Mwalala noted that the defeat will give him the chance to
make alterations to his team next weekend as they will be seeking to bounce
back to winning ways when they play away against Vihiga Bullets.
He admitted that Nzoia outclassed the soldiers in the match from start to finish.
