In the first match, Kabras gave away a 5-0 halftime lead and allowed Russian side Narvskaya Zastava to score twice in the closing half for a 12-10 win.
Both sides now find themslves in a tricky position needing a win in their final group games to reach the main cup finals.
Driftwood champions Nakuru suffered a 40-5 shocking defeat to invited side Blue Bulls & TUK combined.
Hosts Kenya Harlequins were denied a second win after they were edged 19-17 by Uganda’s Emerging 7s.
Herman Humwa and Cyprian Kuto scored for the side but they fell short after Timothy Kisiga and Haruna Mohammed scored for their side.
Homeboyz picked the second win of the day after a 21-0 over Championship side Menengai Oilers.
The Deejays scored one try in the opening half and added two more in the closing half which were all converted.
With this win Homeboyz will be seeking to go a step further than the cup quarterfinals to add to their already 100 accumulated points and hopefully scoop the circuit silverware.
Following closely are Mwamba at 92 points and will need composure, discipline and luck at the same time as they seek to win their first sevens silverware in over a decade.
For the Deejays to be crowned this years Sevens champions they only need a main cup semi-finals qualification and hope Mwamba and KCB falter.
On the other hand “Kulabu” will need a Cup final appearance and hope Homeboyz falter at the cup quarterfinals tomorrow at RFUEA Grounds.
