Kakamega High in County Secondary Schools quarter finals

Former national Secondary Schools Soccer Champions, Kakamega High School, sailed to the quarter finals of the Kakamega County Secondary School Sports Association after overcoming Mumias Muslim Boys by 4 goals to nil in pool A in an electrifying match staged at Mumias Sports Complex Primary School Wednesday.

James Mwangi and Henry Juma scored two goals each. Mwangi opened the scoring board in the first half before Juma netted the second goal just minutes after the second half kicked off.

Juma netted a third goal before Mwangi hammered the final nail to sent Mumias Muslim Boys home a miserable rival.

In matches played earlier, The Green Commandos beat Ekambuli High by 6-0 while Mukumu Boys and Chebuyusi High managed a barren draw in pool A.

Muslim Boys were awarded three free points with two goals after their opponents Ekambuli High delayed to arrive to the pitch.

In ladies soccer, Rehema Girls hammered Emalindi 4-1  as well as defeating Matunda Girls by 2-0 in another fixture.
