Karamor saves Homeboyz after latest setback at Gor

Michael Karamor scored the equalizer as Kakamega Homeboyz salvaged a point from their 1-1 stalemate with Gor Mahia FC during Saturday's FKF Premier League clash at the Kasarani Stadium.

The draw saw Homeboyz lose more ground in their race to win the league title with the result meaning Tusker FC can cut their advantage to just one point if they win on Sunday against Nzoia Sugar.

Homeboyz remain top of the standings with 60 points from 31 matches and remain in control of their fate although they face another stern test against AFC Leopards next weekend.

Leopards held off FC Talanta to win 3-2 in the other clash with Victor Omune's brace lifting the hosts whose 2-0 lead was erased by two quick goals late in the game but were spared the blushes by Omune's last-gasp winner.

Elsewhere, Derrick Otanga netted a hat-trick as KCB FC edged Nairobi City Stars 3-2 with Ezekiel Odera and Rodgers Okumu on target for the visitors. Posta Rangers drew 1-1 with Sofapaka FC with Bernard Ondiek and Rody Manga trading the goals.

In the other match of the day Kenya Police won 1-0 at Bidco United thanks to Elvis Rupia's first half strike.
