Kenya's under-20 rugby team, Chipu, continued their impressive streak in the ongoing Rugby Africa U20 Barthes Cup, securing a dominant 56-17 victory over Tunisia on Wednesday.

Under the guidance of Coach Simon Jawichre, Chipu entered the match with confidence after their thrilling 34-28 win against Namibia in the opener on Sunday.

Alvin Khavoli and Michael Wamalwa each scored twice, propelling Kenya to a comeback victory against Tunisia, who were eager for their first win of the tournament.

Tunisia capitalized on a defensive error from Chipu early in the game, scoring an unconverted try within the first three minutes.

Chipu later swiftly regained their composure, with Iddo Kuta scoring an equalizing try seven minutes later, converted by Kabras RFC full-back James Olela, giving Kenya a 7-5 lead. Khavoli's brace, along with Olela's conversions, extended Kenya's lead to 26-5 at halftime.

In the second half, Kenya maintained their dominance, with Bramwel Anekea scoring a try, again converted by Olela, bringing the score to 41-5. Tunisia responded with a try from Mohamed Ksouri, narrowing the gap to 41-12.

Willy Tink added another try for Kenya, increasing their lead to 46-12 before Tunisia scored again to make it 46-17.

Philip Okeyo's penalty further extended Kenya's lead to 49-17, before Brian Shile sealed the victory with a last-minute try, converted by Okeyo.

With this win, Kenya looks ahead to the final match against hosts Zimbabwe, where the tournament's ultimate winner will be decided.

Kenya's flawless performance positions them as strong contenders for the title, while Tunisia continues to struggle to make an impact, yet to secure a win in the competition.
