The millers are desperate to end a seven-match winless run.
Mara Sugar’s last win came last month against Kariobangi Sharks where they won 2-0 and Manoah hopes they can be back to winning ways after that poor run.
“Tomorrow’s match will be difficult because Kakamega Homeboyz will be playing at home. We will have to be at our best to win the match and my players are aware of that. We are confident that we will get maximum points,” Manoah told Citizen Digital.
Manoah is however wary of Homeboyz’s threat but he is bullish of bagging maximum points to lift them further away from the relegation zone.
“That game will be very important because we are looking at moving away from the relegation zone. We have not won in a long time and it is high time we give our all to win that match.”
The Millers have a number of players nursing injuries but the former Vihiga United tactician believes the players at his disposal will get the job done.
“Brian Ochieng will be undergoing surgery tomorrow in Nairobi after suffering a muscle injury while Harun has left the team. We have a new signing however, Lamech from KCB, whom I know he’ll fit in perfectly,” Manoah said.
The two sides have met three times in the league with each registering one win while another match, the recent pitting of the two sides, ended in a goalless draw.
Both teams will be looking to have an upper hand against one another in Saturday's clash.
Mara currently sit 13th on the log with 20 points, five above the relegation zone after 18 matches.
