AFC Leopards Secretary General Isaac Mulindi has called on supporters to turn up in large numbers for Sunday’s crucial FKF Premier League clash against Shabana FC at Nyayo National Stadium.

While AFC Leopards have Thursday match away to KCB before the Shabana duel, Mulindi knows the importance of solid plans for the fans as the Gusii-based opponents have lately earned a passionate huge following.

Mulindi urged fans to secure tickets early online, with advance prices set at Ksh.300 for terraces and KSh.500 for VIP seats by Thursday.

“I want to let you know that we are thanking you for the enormous support you have been giving our club AFC Leopards. I want to let you know that this Sunday we are having a game against Shabana FC and so I welcome everybody to buy your ticket early," urged Mulindi.

"We are selling our tickets as follows: Terraces will be KSh 300 while VIP goes for KSh 500 for those who purchase them between now and Thursday mid-night,” Mulindi furher announced.

He warned that no tickets will be sold at the gate, adding that late purchases from Thursday midnight through match day will attract higher charges of KSh.500 for terraces and KSh.1,000 for VIP.

“On Sunday we are not going to sell any tickets at the gates. We are trying to avoid any commotion and we want everything to run smoothly so that we can have a good game. From Thursday mid-night to Sunday we are going to sell our tickets as follows; Ksh 500 for terraces and Ksh 1000 for VIP. We want to welcome everyone to come and support the team that you love so that we can have a great match against Shabana this Sunday,” Mulindi added.

The 12-time league champions sit second on the table with 40 points, six behind leaders Gor Mahia, but with a game in hand, while Shabana FC are close behind in third on 37 points.

The encounter pits two of Kenya’s most passionately supported community clubs against each other, backed by some of the country’s largest fan bases.
