Murkomen Promises to Guide APS Bomet to Premier League Glory

Moments after being appointed the club's patron, Murkomen expressed confidence that in the upcoming season, APS Bomet will finish among the top clubs in the Premier League after finishing second in the just concluded National Super League.
"We will work together, and I know the responsibility that lies ahead is not easy but I have faith that we can finish among the top teams progressively...then in the next three or four season we can challenge to win the Premier League," Murkomen said.
During a ceremony that brought together security top officials in the country and the APS Bomet team, Deputy Inspector General of Police Gilbert Masengeli, who also attended the event, shared his confidence in APS Bomet’s potential.
"We have no doubt, we will at some point crown you the winners of the Football Kenya Federation Premier League," Masengeli added.
For the newbies, APS now faces a major challenge next season competing at the top level. The team will have to flex muscles with the the country's top football clubs for top honours.
The team finished second on the log in the 2024/2025 National Super League with 68 points behind champions Nairobi United, who won the title with 72 points.
