New boy Mwita injects the spark at Bandari
Bandari’s new acquisition Johanna Mwita has vowed to keep on with his impressive form after he found the back of the net twice in their 2-1 against KCB in a Kenyan Premier League match in Machakos over the weekend.
The young forward has at the same time voiced his aspiration to keep developing in his bid to get more playing time amidst tough competition from Yema Mwana and Wycliff Ochomo in the first team.
“I want to score more goals, that’s why Bandari came for me,”he said.
On his part, Bandari tactician Twahir Muhiddin lauded the striker terming him a “long-term solution” to their striking nightmare.
“Since his last game I saw his potential and he is now proving, that with some skills, he will be more dangerous upfront.”
With lead striker Yema Mwana falling short in match fitness, and Wycliffe Ochomo out injured, Mwita will be relied upon to help the Dockers navigate their way to the top five.
Bandari host Kariobangi Sharks this weekend at their Mbaraki backyard.
