Nzoia eyeing Tusker scalp in FKF-PL clash at Ruaraka

Nzoia Sugar FC tactician Salim Babu is confident his side will
bag maximum points when they take on Football Kenya Federation Premier League
defending Champions Tusker, in their next FKF Premier League assignment on
Saturday in Ruaraka.
Babu says he will strive to ensure his side extends its good run
in the Saturday assignment after picking a point in their draw against Kakamega
Homeboyz last Weekend.
A win would lift the sugar millers to the top of the league
standings, as they are just a point shy of current leaders Tusker who have 18
points, after seven outings.
"We are only planning on winning every match. The positive
results so far have stirred up my boys and increased their confidence,"
Babu said.
Nzoia hve recorded positive results in the on-going FKF-PL
campaign losing just once in eight matches played so far. Babu attributes the good run to team work and
discipline at the club.
“Football is a game of instructions, the boys are disciplined
and follow instructions well, we are in high spirits, we have just lost once and
we want to keep the momentum,” Babu told Citizen
Digital.
Tusker on the other hand will be seeking to bounce back after
they handed their first defeat this season by Bandari, 2-1 on Sunday.
Coach Robert Matano told journalists after the loss at Mbaraki
Sports Club – Mombasa that he wants an immediate reaction in the match against Nzoia.
“We don’t want to think about this loss anymore, we shift our
focus to the next match, starting to plan how to win it,” he said.
Thus, like a wounded lion, Matano is expected to unleash all the
arsenal he has against the high flying Nzoia.
