“Emerging the overall winner wasn’t an easy task considering that it was a tough course . I’m happy because I have participated in helping the 20 children to undergo free heart surgeries, and it’s my prayer that the procedures will be a success,” said the Kenya Pipeline Company ( KPC) General Manager ( GM) Operations and Maintenance.
William Muguima from Sigona Golf Club emerged the winner with 44 points while Duncan Kuvuitu was second with 42 points in the category, as Kalee Maleli became the lady's winner with 40 points, one more than Ivy Katee who finished second.

The other categories saw Dr Samwel Odede win the Staff Winner, Philip Waki claiming the Board Member winner while the best admitting Staff Winner went to Dr Kaisha.
The Nairobi Hospital together with its partners, through the Hospital’s Children’s Charity Heart Fund, have sponsored free heart operations for needy children aged 0 – 12 years with congenital heart conditions for several years now.
More than 400 children from different parts of the country have benefited from the drive.
According to James Nyamongo, Chief Executive Officer ( CEO ) Nairobi Hospital, the cost of surgery and post-surgery care is between Sh.550,000 to Sh.800,000 per child.
"This depends on the complexity of the heart condition, the Hospital is therefore encouraging partners to adopt one or more children to facilitate their surgeries," Nyamongo said.
