Okwiri signs new deal with Finix as brand ambassador
African Boxing Union middleweight champion Rayton Okwiri has been unveiled as the brand ambassador for Finix Casino. Under the new deal Finix Casino will also manage the Kenyan middleweight boxer.
By signing the deal, Okwiri made a
major leap in his boxing career in an industry that hitherto lacks
professionalism.
Okwiri expressed his delight at the
milestone.
He said, “There were major challenges
that I faced before. Finix Casino has made a major impact in my career and I
promise to bring the World title home.”
Under the deal, Okwiri will have access
to professional legal services as well as general management, with the Company
keen to tap onto his boxing skills.
Speaking during the unveiling ceremony,
Cliff Mboya, the chairman of Finix Casino said, “We are looking forward to
helping other Kenyan boxers build their careers and urging other cooperates to
follow suit.”
Commissioner of Boxing Federation of
Kenya Reuben Ndolo, himself a former pugilist, was also present at the event,
and hailed Finix Casino for the gesture.
“We urge other cooperates to take a step
ahead and follow Finix Casino’s example,” Ndolo, also a former Makadara Member
of Parliament, said
