Africa's fastest man, Ferdinand Omanyala, will this weekend have a perfect dry run for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games when he battles heavyweights like America’s Noah Lyles and Britain's triple world champion Zharnel Hughes at the Racer's Grand Prix in Kingston, Jamaica.
The Saturday extravaganza will be one for the books for Omanyala, who is yet to win a single race this season.
Omanyala will be chasing down Lyles, the two-time world 200-meter champion who won the Bermuda Grand Prix, after clocking an impressive 9.96
Also in the field is Great Britain’s Zharnel Hughes, the world 100m bronze medalist who will be making his first appearance in the 100m, and Jamaican youngster Oblique Seville, who is looking to impress after winning the 200m race at the Atlanta City Games a week ago.
