Omune pleased by Leopards attacking chemistry
AFC Leopards striker Victor Omune is delighted to see a much
improved striking department and the chemistry he is having with his colleagues
on the pitch.
Omune, John-Mark Makwatta, Josephat Lopaga and winger Cliff
Nyakeya all joined Leopards in the January transfer window and have formed a
fearsome attacking partnership.
Leopards are one of the most dangerous teams on the counter
in the division and have scored 10 goals in their last six matches.
“It’s so nice and I thank God that all has worked out for the
better so far. Remember also that training helps a lot and we have been
practicing this in the training to make it perfect. We will continue working
hard and I’m sure very soon we will perfect it,” Omune said.
The former KCB striker has also thanked the Leopards fans
for their support.
“The fans are like our spine with regards to the good
performance that we have been having of late. They are a blessing to us and we
thank God for that for sure. As a team we want to work hard and bring joy to
them,” Omune added.
Ingwe are placed 10th on the league standings with 39 points
and are aiming for a top five finish with six matches to go before the end of the
season.
