Police FC chair Munga gives Rwanda camp thumbs up
Kenya Police FC chairman Nyale Munga has given the
ten-day training camp in Kigali a thumbs up saying it will help the team hit
top form before the new FKF Premier League season opens.
The law enforcers arrived in Rwanda last evening
after a 25-hour journey and upon arrival they held a light training in a gym in
Kigali to help the players stretch after the long journey.
Friendly matches are lined up against some of the
top clubs in Rwanda including their hosts Rayon Sports, AS Kigali and Rwanda
Police.
"Let's go and show them that we know this
game, and when we come back to Kenya we sweep aside every team we meet. We are
doing this because we don't want to take chances for this coming season,"
said Nyale.
Police finished ninth last season and will open
their campaign against Bandari FC to kick-off their Kenya Premier League which
has been clouded by uncertainty over who should manage the leagues.
