Substitute Exaule Misuri delivered the decisive blow, slotting in the match winner in stoppage time as Kenyan Police beat fighting Bidco United 3-2 in a rescheduled Kenyan Premier League match played Wednesday at the Nyayo National Stadium.

David Simiyu broke the deadlock for Police in the 24th minute and Eric Zakayo widened the advantage 20 minutes later to take the law enforcers 2-0 up at half-time.

However, after the break, Bidco made a sturdy comeback; Jacob Onyango slotting their first goal in the 74th minute to cut the deficit, after a decent cross from Thomas Wainaina. Wainaina then turned the scorer in the 75th minute making for a gripping run to the final whistle.

But when it seemed the points would be shared, Misuri came off the bench to break the hearts of Bidco who had shown remarkably resilience to fight back from two goals down.

The victory lifted the champions to third on the log with 17 points, two shy of leaders Gor Mahia, while Bidco United remain at position five with 13 points.

Police will now shift their attention to their upcoming clash against Shabana FC on November 30 as Bidco United aim to bounce back against face Posta Rangers on December 1.
