Kenya Prisons have now shifted attention to their semi final clash against Mouloudia Sportive de Bou Salem of Tunisia Monday evening.

This is after dispatching Kenyan counterparts Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) 3-1 on Sunday, in the quarterfinals of the ongoing men's African Volleyball club championships in Cairo, Egypt.

Prisons assistant coach Saul Omuyange is confident his charges will sink the Tunisian giants to earn a place in the final, a feat they last achieved in 2011 - in Tunisia.

The reigning Kenya Volleyball Federation men's volleyball league reigning champions on Sunday rallied from behind to stun KPA in a pulsating quarterfinal clash, handing the Dockers who had a perfect campaign their first defeat at the championship.

KPA had whitewashed Prisons 25-09 in the first set before Prisons gathering their mojo to stun the Dockers 25-22 in the second set.

Fireworks were experienced in the third set with both teams looking to take the lead.

However, it was Prisons who had the last laugh, edging KPA 28-26 in the nervy ending clash.

The fourth set saw the local champions manage an easy win of 25-16 to punch their way into the semis.

Prior to the semi finals, the Dennis Mokua-led charges had registered mixed results in the preliminaries, winning two matches and losing two, before reigning supreme against Morocco's Faith Sports Club 3-0 in the last eight.

Omuyange is now calling on his charges to unleash their A game against their Tunisian rivals when the two sides clash today.

"Mouloudia Sportive de Bou Salem is a top team, they have top players and we have to be at the top of our game to stun them. We are confident we will reach the final," noted Omuyange.

The two teams are penciled to clash Monday evening at the Cairo Stadium Indoor Arena.

Elsewhere, KPA who finished sixth in last year's edition will clash with ASW Volleyball Bilda from Algeria in the classification playoffs.
