Red Bull Four 2 Score fever is picking up as Kenya gets ready for the big kick-off on Saturday at the Nairobi International School where 16 teams will converge.

The national finale is the culmination of months of selecting the country’s best small-field football teams through a series of regional qualifiers.

At stake is the chance for one winning team to advance to the inaugural World Final that will be held in the home of German Bundesliga giants, RB Leipzig, later this year.

The World Final will see the winners from all 27 national competitions across the globe go head-to-head as Red Bull looks to crown its first ever Four 2 Score champion.

The Kenyan qualifying rounds of the unique tournament have been nothing short of epic; providing quality highlight reels of skills, technical quality, agility and movement.

It is the sort of treat spectators can expect at the day-long national event where organisers have also put up an exciting schedule with an array of entertainment activities.

These will include penalty and 1v1 challenges for media and the fans with music tucked in between everything.

Road to the finale:

The qualifying rounds featured four tournaments – three in Nairobi and one in Mombasa – played in world-cup style formats.

The top four teams (semi-finalists) from each of those qualifiers earned tickets to advance to the national event.

One of them can go on to achieve the ultimate glory of being world champion.

The 16 national finalists are: Bayern Mombasa, Halike FC, Mkunguni FC, Serani Sports, Smart Legends, Ngara All Stars, Madaraka All Stars, Wild West Youngins, University of Nairobi (UoN) FC, Desai FC, FC Zaga and Mazkbads.

About Red Bull Four 2 Score:

The special tournament brings electrifying twist to traditional football format by challenging players to show their best small-field skills in intense 4 vs 4 matches.

The rules include 10-minute matches, no breaks and no goalie. On top of that, goals during the first and last minute count for double, rewarding high risk tactics throughout.
