Benson Omola hit a 92nd minute winner as Kenya’s Rising Stars edged Sudan 2-1 to secure a semi final spot at the ongoing CECAFA Under-20 championships in Arusha, Tanzania.

After a goalless opening half, Fortune Omoto gave the Raising stars the lead in the 62nd minute before Sudan equalized with seven minutes left on the clock.

That left the match poised for a dramatic finish and teenage sensation Omala stepped up to win it for Kenya, who will come up against the winner of Group B, which consists of Uganda, South Sudan, and Burundi.
