Shabana FC appoint 'Pamzo' Omollo as new head coach

Former Gor Mahia defender Oscar Kambona, who was Okoth’s assistant, has been operating in an interim capacity as the club was hunting for a new tactician.

Pamzo, who led Tusker FC to the Premier League crown in 2011, will be tasked with re-engineering a turnaround for the club following a spate of poor results since their grand return to the topflight league.

Their Sunday's 1-0 humiliation by Muhoroni Youth at the Raila Odinga Stadium turned ugly when violence erupted leaving one fan injured after fans were aggrieved by the loss, their ninth in the season.

Shabana have had a tough start to the season with only three wins under their name and nine defeats, and are currently languishing 17th on the table on 14 points, one above bottom placed Nzoia Sugar.
