Starlets hold Uganda to keep AWCON dream alive
Harambee Starlets have qualified for the second round of the 2018 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations qualifiers after claiming a 0-1 aggregate win over Uganda’s Crested Cranes.
Starlets had carried a 1-0 first leg advantage foe the Sunday’s return leg at the capital Kampala and held tight for a 0-0 result.
Coach David Ouma’s charges will thus face Equatorial Guinea in the final round as they seek a potential second return to the continental showpiece which will be staged in Ghana later in the year.
