Tom Juma has been appointed the new AFC Leopards head coach, to be assisted by former Wazito FC head coach Fred Ambani.

The announcement has been posted on the club's official Twitter website in the early hours of Tuesday to end the speculations of who is taking over the mantle.

Juma takes over from Patrick Aussems who ditched the club after three years in charge since his appointment in February 2021

The Leopards legend has been an understudy of Aussems since 2021 when Antony 'Modo' Kimani opted to leave the club and join Bandari.

This is the first time Juma is rising to the rank of a head coach.

Leopards will expect Juma will break the two over decade-jinx without the Premier League title.

Kimani had been tipped to take over as the head coach but the latest development ends the speculation.
