Tong IL Moo Do federation to rollout ambitious visibility campaign

The
Kenya Tong IL Moo Do federation president Clarence Mwakio has promised to enhance
the game’s visibility across the country in the next couple of seasons.
Speaking
to Citizen Digital, Mwakio said they have received overwhelming reception
and support from stakeholders, a feat he says will offer the much-needed
springboard to achieving excellent awareness and patronage across the country
by 2025.
"We
are planning to make sure that the game is grown in every part of the country.
“We
have been received well in very place that we launched the game am I am sure we
will succeed in our mission to grow the game in the country,” said Mwakio
The
federation president also went on to thank the Ministry of Sports for their
continued support to the game saying that they are determined to get the game
onto the Olympics games in the near future.
"We
have dominated the game for all those years because of the players and staff
commitment to make it happen I am sure with time will make it happen to the Olympics,”
added Mwakio.
Kenya
is looking forward to retaining the title they won last year as games conclude
on Friday at the Aga Khan Academy in Mombasa where Kenya won an enviable 185
medals in different categories in last year’s edition.
