Tusker's Luvanda sets league goals target

Tusker FC striker Lawrence Luvanda has set a ten goals target
this season after opening his account against Kakamega in week one of the FKF
Premier League.
Luvanda scored through a penalty before Jackson Macharia
added another in their 2-1 win in Bukhungu.
“I have started with a goal and I don’t want to stop there, I
am targeting ten goals by the end of the season,” said Luvanda.
At the same time, the former AFC Leopards midfielder added
that the win has motivated them ahead of their title-defending season.
“Starting with a win is of course a motivation and we hope to
defend the title.”
On their first match, Tusker FC head coach Robert Matano
noted that his boys played as per instructions and hope they will extend in
their coming matches.
The veteran tactician was impressed by the way they dominated
the match against Kakamega Homeboyz despite being away in Bukhungu.
“We played like champions and that is what we expect in all
our fixtures as we pick from there.”
The breweries are set to face Nairobi City Stars in their
second match at their Ruaraka Grounds in Nairobi.
