Vihiga Bullets collect maximum points in Kajiado

VIhiga Bullets cruised past Kajiado FC to claim a 2-0 victory in their National Super League match played on Saturday at Ildamat stadium in Kajido town.

Vihiga's Soita Owuor took advantage of deflected ball to give the visitors an early lead on the 32 minute.

On the fourth minute of the added time, Kajado defense made a mistake and Japheth Lokayo had an easy drive towards the goal to make it 2-0.

Vihiga Bullets head coach George Awoko was impressed with the results saying despite the poor start, the team is picking well and soon good results will be realised.

“We did not come here to make beautiful passes, I had instructed my boys to play long ball since the tuff is not good and I am happy my boys took my instruction – we won.

He added that: “We started with a 5-0 defeat against Gusii United, the second game we drew 1-1  when we hosted Dimba Patriots, and now we have won, I will deploy my experience which have gathered in NSL when Coach deferent teams to see how best we will finish by the end of the league.”

On his side, Mohamed Hamisi Kaka who is in charge of Kajido FC was quick to concede, saying: “We had two wins in our two encounters, we had started well but now I will go back to the drawing board to see what went wrong. I have also a task of teaching my boys on how to maintain winning ways, for today, we are done. Now focus shifts to our next game ASSAD in Kwale.”

Kajido FF now have six points collected from three games where they won two and lost one, while Vihiga Bullets have four after playing three matches.
