Vihiga United pick Okoth as interim coach

Vihiga United has appointed Sammy Okoth as their interim coach until the end of the season.

Okoth replaces Mike Mururi who was sacked on Wednesday owing to poor performance.

Okoth, who until recently managed Kenyan Premier League outfit Zoo Kericho will be assisted by Alex Alumira who is the head coach of Vihiga Queens.

Vihiga’s next league assignment come son Sunday when they play host to Mathare United at the Bukhungu Stadium.
