Western Jaguars edge Police at City Park

Western Jaguars defeated Kenya Police 2-1 during in a Kenya Hockey Union (KHU) Premier League clash played at City Park on Sunday.

Derrick Juma and Bethuel Musambu scored for Jaguars with Titus Kimtai hitting one for Police in between the two strikes.

Police will blame themselves for failing to capitalize on their four penalty corners to get back in the game.

Jaguar's midfielder Ian Ludiali, forward Oscar Kibet and Police midfielder Derrick Jabali were each sent to the sin bins for foul plays.

Victory saw Jaguars climb fourth on the standings, level on points with Butali Warriors, Police and Sharks.
