Wazito FC’s Waithira is now Nakumatt’s Joe

Kenyan Premier League (KPL) side Nakumatt FC have ramped up their transfer activity by completing the transfer of Joseph Waithira from Wazito FC.

The acquisition of the skilful forward follows the signing of his teammate Harun Nyakha on Tuesday and becomes their second signing of the mid-season window.

Nakumatt Secretary General Alfred Wesonga has said the club is eyeing two more players before wrapping up their transfer business as they seek to carry their current form into the second leg of the season.

The official said they intend to add another striker and a ‘top class’ defender into their roster.

Waithira and Nykha’s exits from Wazito represents their fifth departures after Pistone Mutamba, Patient Lukige and Luis Tumba also left the club.
