Wazito settle on Ambani as head coach, Salim Babu to deputise

Kenya Premier League moneybags Wazito FC have named Fred Ambani as head coach and former defender Salim Babu as his assistant.

In a statement posted on the club’s website on Saturday, the club said Ambani will take over from Stewart Hall.

Hall parted ways with the club some three weeks ago, in what club boss  Ricardo Badoer attributed to Covid-19 destruction.

It will be Ambani’s second stint at the club having handled the team in the 2019/2020 season during the team’s campaign in the National Super League.

It remains to be seen if the duo will last on the job that has arguably become the toughest in the KPL with the club boss quick to dismiss.
